This 2-piece set includes a 6-inch chef’s knife for chopping, slicing, dicing, and mincing, and a 3.5-inch paring knife for detailed tasks like peeling vegetables, creating garnishes, and segmenting citrus.
The potent SG2 micro-carbide powder steel core is layered in a Tsuchime hand-hammered finish that helps prevent food from sticking. CRYODUR® ice-hardened blades offer exceptional sharpness, durability, and edge retention. Each blade is hand-honed with a Honbazuke process and finished with a katana edge inspired by traditional samurai swords.
Handles crafted from Cocobolo Rosewood Pakkawood feature elegant detailing including brass and red spacers, a mosaic pin, and a stainless-steel end cap. The D-shaped handle provides a comfortable, ergonomic grip for precise, fatigue-free cutting.
